THE PATCHWORK ANSWERS BACK

a GM-less TTRPG for 2 to 4 players. one sitting, 45 to 75 minutes.

you and the table are stitching a companion together, out of real material pulled off a shared harvest table. teeth. hide. a name. every part you attach is a public choice about what kind of giver you are: CHEAP, STOLEN, WITHHELD, or FREELY GIVEN. you say it out loud when you place it. nobody hides anything.

when the build is done, it opens its eyes. 

it remembers exactly who gave it what, and it says so, by name, at the table, for the rest of the session.

HOW IT PLAYS

3 build rounds. on your turn, claim a part, narrate attaching it, declare which zone it goes in, in front of the whole table. no hidden information. the confession happens before the creature ever wakes up.

whoever attaches the last part becomes THE VOICE. they read for the creature now. the one who finished the thing is the one who has to speak for it.

then it answers back. one card per zone that got used, read aloud, real names, real parts. one final question at the end, answered together, out loud. then the game's over. no combat. no winning or losing. the point was always the confession, not a fight.
